2017 AFM User Workshop

Announcing the Annual AFM User Workshop, sponsored by the W.M. Keck Center for Nano-Scale Imaging in the UA Department of Chemistry & Biochemistry. The AFM user workshop is open to all UA students and researchers who will be using Atomic Force microscopy for their research projects. The workshop will be held June 5th - 7th, 2017.  Attendance is limited to 18 and preference will be given to new AFM users. The 3-day AFM workshop will consist of lecture and lab sections geared to introduce new users to the technique. Topics covered will include contact mode, intermittent contact mode (tapping or AAC mode), force spectroscopy, liquid imaging, and data analysis. This workshop is provided free of charge, and the deadline to register for the course is Friday June 2nd at 5pm.
