image.sc LIVE! event (April 10, 2024)

I am thrilled to announce the second Image.sc LIVE! Event which is happening online next week on Weds April 10th from 1 – 4pm BST!  (Note: this is 5-9am local time)

Organised by the RMS DAIM Section and supported by the Crick Networking Fund, the idea behind it is to raise awareness that the image.sc forum is a really good place to go for image analysis help. Many researchers have either never heard of image.sc, or worse don’t feel comfortable posting their questions. By doing a live helpdesk, we are hoping to change that a little. On the first event in January, we had over 50 people across the globe participate and 21 questions were posted beforehand on the forum. The majority were already image.sc users so this time we are (*again*) hoping to reach new users. So as well as inviting you to participate, we are asking for your help in the awareness-raising mission! You can help by printing the a poster out and sticking it on the wall near the microscopes (on the image.sc link below)! Alternatively telling people by word of mouth, social media or email would be much appreciated too.
