Nikon Center of Excellence - Opening & Symposium (April 23, 2025)

The University of Arizona Cancer Center proudly presents the official Nikon Center of Excellence Grand Opening & Symposium. This new center will bring state of the art imaging capabilities to the University of Arizona Cancer Center (UACC), positioning it as one of the most advanced facilities for Bioscience imaging in the Western U.S.

Housed within the Cancer Center, it is the latest of 22 total Nikon Centers of Excellence in the United States, offering the latest innovations in imaging technologies to faculty, staff and students from any university, biotechnology organization or other life sciences facility. The UACC Nikon Center of Excellence hosts six advanced imaging systems (confocal, super resolution, multiphoton, and high content imaging), two image analysis workstations, anesthesia and physiological monitoring tools to support small animal intravital imaging, a shared wet lab space, and a fully equipped tissue culture facility for short and long-term use. The Center will also provide workshops and educational opportunities for the local imaging community.
