Nikon Small World imaging contest (deadline April 30, 2025)

Nikon Small World is the world’s preeminent competition for imagery taken through a microscope. Nikon Small World comprises two separate contests: the Nikon Small World Photomicrography Competition, which celebrates still images taken using a microscope, and Nikon Small World in Motion (sometimes referred to as SWIM), which focuses on videos captured using a microscope.

The deadline for entries is April 30th, 2025, and the first-place prize for each competition is $3,000. There are also prizes offered for other top winners, honorable mentions, and more. In addition, all participating qualified contestants will receive a Nikon Small World wall calendar just for entering!*
