Virtual LCI Light Microscopy Course (Jan 21-Feb 13, 2026) Sweden

There are a few spots left for the LCI core facility light microscopy course (21 Jan - 13 Feb 2025): 'Microscopy: improve your imaging skills - from sample preparation to image analysis'. The course is free of charge and runs completely remotely! :) Students, researchers and facility staff who work in the similar time zones as Sweden (Central European Time) as welcome to join.

This course is aimed at PhD students, researchers and core facility staff who have some prior experience of microscopy but feel that they need to improve their skills. Check the eligibility criteria on  here <https://doctoralcourses.application.ki.se/fubasextern/info?kurs=H7F2870…;.

The purpose of the course is to provide you with enough theoretical and practical knowledge about your OWN sample and your OWN microscope, to enable you to:
1) assess and improve your sample to enable solid data extraction,
2) make best use of the hardware available in your lab/facility,
3) fully understand the acquisition parameters in your own microscope software,
4) design your experiment from scientific question to image analysis using a strong knowledge base.

* Check the course webpage. Look at the course schedule and the alumni testimonies!
* If you cannot apply to the course, you can anyway follow the lectures (in blue on the schedule) as they are accessible live via Zoom without registration. The schedule and zoom link are available on the course page.
