Advanced Imaging Methods (AIM) Workshop (Berkley, CA) Jan 21 - 23, 2025
Announcing the 22nd Advanced Imaging Methods (AIM) Workshop, January 21 - 23, 2025, to be held at the David Brower Center just one block from the UC Berkeley campus.
Early registration rates are open at https://aim2025.eventbrite.com/ Registration costs go up January 1.
AIM2025 is a 3-day event focused on new and emerging microscopy techniques and their applications to biological systems. AIM maintains a special focus on time-resolved techniques such as fluorescence lifetime imaging (FLIM) and fluorescence correlation spectroscopy. AIM is hosted by the CRL Molecular Imaging Center at UC Berkeley <https://crl.berkeley.edu/molecular-imaging-center/>.
This workshop brings together internationally-renowned researchers in a broad variety of fields including biology, chemistry, biophysics, engineering, probe design, cellular biology, neuroscience, optics, metabolic research, artificial intelligence and image processing, to name a few. In addition to sessions on FLIM, this year we will also include sessions on neuroscience, super resolution, AI in microscopy, and probe development.
In addition to invited talks from leaders in the field, AIM2025 will include demonstrations on-site and on campus, a robust vendor show, a poster session, and evening receptions. AIM includes lunch for all attendees each day, snack breaks, coffee breaks, and many opportunities for informal interactions among participants. We welcome scientists from all backgrounds and at all experience levels and all industries, from experts to microscopy-curious, from academic scholars to biotechnology researchers. AIM aims to be inclusive for all and has opportunities for volunteering.
